Our MO seal of quality for your tyres.

Mercedes MO tyres are developed by premium tyre manufacturers to the highest Mercedes-Benz quality standards. Only tyres that meet more than 40 defined parameters receive the corresponding MO quality seal issued by Mercedes-Benz. To do this, manufacturers must be able, among other things, to change various crucial points on the tyre if necessary:

When is it time to change my tyres?

  • If you can see even a glimmer of metal in your car tyres, it’s a clear sign that you need a new set of tyres.
  • You notice a lot of splintering or abnormal bulges.
  • After 5 years of use or 80 000km
  • The thread wear bars are level with the tyre tread
  • Check for uneven wear patterns, as it may indicate alignment issues.

Tyre safety tips for the holiday season:

  • Tyres (and spare tyres) should be checked properly before a long trip. Visually check your tyres for any signs of damage, uneven wear and abnormally smooth areas.
  • With a car full of people, supplies for the road, and luggage in the boot for those family vacations, it’s easy to overload a vehicle during a road trip. The more weight, the greater the load on the tyres, which in turn, can shorten the lifespan. Check your owners manual for your vehicle’s maximum load before you load up and ensure you have the optimal tyre pressure for the load.
  • Wheel alignment is a major contributing factor to irregular and accelerated tyre wear. Wheels that are not correctly aligned can negatively affect your vehicle’s handling characteristics and dramatically shorten the tyre life. We recommend checking alignment if your tyres are 5 years and older, or if they have done more than 80 000km.
