Charging at home

Simple and convenient charging at home.

Use the time effectively when your electric vehicle is in the garage or in its parking space.
The simple and convenient way to charge your vehicle in one easy step: with a Mercedes-Benz Wallbox Home, the intelligently connected innogy eBox Professional or a standard charging cable connected to a conventional domestic mains socket. The benefit: every morning you have a charged battery and are thus more flexible and independent when out on the road.

- Fast: the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox Home enables the new EQC to be charged up to three times faster than at a domestic mains socket.
- Transparent: simply connect your electrified Mercedes-Benz to the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox Home - the LEDs in different colours show you the current operating status at all times.
- Compatible: the fixed charging cable (Type 2) is compatible with all Mercedes-Benz and smart electric vehicles and with other makes of electric vehicles which have a Type 2 connection.

Charging at a domestic mains socket.

The most economical option for charging your electrified Mercedes-Benz. And an additional alternative to a wallbox when the duration of the charging cycle is of secondary importance or the wallbox is occupied. Or if you're not yet sure whether investing in a wallbox makes financial sense for you.

Mercedes me Charge* provides access to a wealth of public charging stations all over Europe, located in cities and in places such as shopping centres, hotels or motorway services. In the Mercedes me App, you can call up the precise location, current availability and price at the selected charging station, for example. The navigation system installed in the vehicle is also supplied with information on the charging stations and can take this into account in its route guidance. Authentication at the charging station takes place via the display in the MBUX multimedia system, the Mercedes me App or the Mercedes me Charge card. Everything else is handled automatically through Mercedes me Charge. One contract, one invoice per country region. Outside of Europe, Mercedes me Charge is currently available in the USA and China, for example.

* To use the Mercedes me Charge incl. IONITY services, you must register on the Mercedes me Portal and also accept the Terms of Use for the Mercedes me connect services. You also need to register on the Mercedes me Charge User Portal and enter your payment information, and the vehicle concerned must be linked with the user account. Standardised charging and billing solutions in compliance with the relevant weights and measures regulations are not currently available nationwide in Germany. In isolated cases, this may lead to discrepancies between the amount of electricity charged and the amount billed by the mobility service provider, for example. Should you have any queries, please contact Digital Charging Solutions GmbH.
