Together, they optimised the performance of engines and became involved in motorsport  –  and turned two-man operation later into a global brand under the umbrella of Mercedes-Benz. The first sporting milestone was the 24-hour race in Spa in 1971 - the sensation was perfect and the name AMG went around the world.

Design at Mercedes-AMG stands for the perfect symbiosis of form and function. Or to put it another way: Form follows speed and is a reflection of technology. Proudly born from motorsport. The AMG brand has also been represented in Formula 1TM since the 2012 season with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport Team as the engine manufacturer of High Performance Powertrains.

Inspired by legendary race cars, the combination of racing aesthetics and highly dynamic performance makes the Mercedes-AMG PureSpeed a unique driving machine for real connoisseurs. A pure driving experience to feel light, air and passion unfiltered with all senses.
