SUV stands for Sport Utility Vehicle. SUVs are vehicles that combine elements of purely on-road vehicles with features of off-road vehicles, such as greater ground clearance and a raised roof line. SUVs are generally more spacious and versatile than conventional passenger cars and combine the best elements of a car and an off-road vehicle.

Mercedes-Benz SUVs are generally larger and taller than our passenger cars, but are designed to be driven for the most part in the same way as other Mercedes-Benz models.

The choice of the right Mercedes-Benz SUV depends on your needs. The compact GLA and EQA models are ideal for smaller families. For larger space requirements, the spacious GLB and EQB models could be a solution. With a desire for more sporty features, the GLC and GLC Coupé and GLE and GLE Coupé or EQE SUV may be the right choice. Or are you interested in a large SUV such as the 7-seater GLS or the EQS SUV? But you may also be looking for our most robust SUV. In this case, the legendary G-Class would be your best choice.

With an SUV, you enjoy a number of advantages over a conventional passenger car. SUVs offer more space for passengers and luggage, can transport larger and heavier loads and, thanks to the greater ground clearance, can reach even remote locations. Due to the higher seat position, you also have a greater overview – many people experience driving an SUV as more comfortable and feel more confident.

If you intend to carry passengers frequently, you could opt for an SUV such as the GLB, GLS, EQB or EQS SUV with up to seven seats. Consider your surroundings as well, because in a densely populated environment you may prefer a more compact SUV like the GLA.
