Every second counts when it comes to rescuing vehicle occupants after an accident. Daimler was therefore the first vehicle manufacturer to introduce a small but effective innovation that gives emergency services immediate access to safety-relevant information: the rescue sticker.

The QR code on the sticker is simply scanned using a smartphone or tablet to display the vehicle's current rescue card.
Rescue services can then view information about the location of airbags, battery, tanks, electric lines, pressure cylinders and other rescue-critical components. Thanks to this simple but significant solution, services at the scene have a key advantage in the fight against time. Using the QR code, they can respond more quickly. In an emergency, these stickers can help to save lives.

The QR-code stickers are easy to apply and are available from your authorised Mercedes-Benz dealership for all Mercedes-Benz vans manufactured from 1996 onwards.
