Drive powerfully and cost-effectively.

2 engines.

If you want to be successful, you need a powerful drive: the 4-cylinder diesel engine in 2 output levels and the V6-cylinder diesel engine combine power and economy in an exemplary manner in the Sprinter. The renowned engines have again been further optimised in terms of fuel consumption, for example, with a reduction of in-engine friction. All engines are available both with manual and with automatic transmissions.

The demanding Euro-6 or Euro-VI emissions standard is upheld with the help of SCR technology (Selective Catalytic Reduction). This process reduces nitrogen oxide emissions in diesel engines by routing the exhaust gas through a catalytic converter where the nitrogen oxides1 are converted into nitrogen and water thanks to the addition of water-based AdBlue®.

Nitrogen oxides (NOx) include nitrogen monoxide (NO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2).
