Long bonnet with the passenger compartment set a long way back – the Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 displays the hallmark attributes of a sports car. The expressive AMG bodystyling is reflected in the front end, the upright diamond radiator grille, the front splitter in silver chrome and the front apron in A-wing design. The sporty styling continues in the car's profile with details such as air intakes with fins in silver chrome. AMG rear axle differential lock

The mechanically controlled AMG rear-axle differential lock improves traction in every driving situation, especially when the driver adopts a sporty driving style. This is accomplished by reducing slip on the inner driven wheel on bends and is tuned for performance-oriented elastokinematics.

The AMG high-performance brake system ensures excellent deceleration and precise braking with its all-round vented and cross-drilled brake discs. Aluminium brake callipers reduce the unsprung masses and consequently improve both handling and comfort.

AMG speed-sensitive steering

The AMG speed-sensitive sports steering with its constant, very direct ratio of 15.5 : 1 ensures agile cornering with clear feedback. At the same time, the level of power assistance (two characteristic settings: Comfort and Sport) also adapts to the various AMG DYNAMIC SELECT drive programs.
