On the outside the Mercedes-AMG E 53 4MATIC+ Cabriolet displays its expressive proportions. Silver chrome elements on the louvres of the outer air intakes and front splitter establish the sporty, distinctive character of the Cabriolet. This impression is reinforced by the AMG front apron which features a special AMG radiator grille with double louvre, making the allure of the quality interior all but inevitable. Aerodynamically optimised, 20-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels with a high-sheen finish in black help deliver exactly what the car's exterior promises: maximum open-top performance on the road.

Love at first sight: new double round tailpipe trim elements as well as an expressive diffuser in matt black and a trim strip in silver chrome. An AMG exhaust system controlled by drive programs for the hallmark AMG sonorous sound – your ears and eyes are in for a treat. The new Mercedes-AMG E 53 4MATIC+ Cabriolet pays attention to the other senses, too: the distinctive spoiler lip is there to enhance the look of the car as well as reduce aerodynamic lift at the rear axle.

On top of this, 48-volt electrification and the Integrated Starter-Alternator can generate up to 16 kW of additional output. Furthermore, an additional electric compressor ensures the engine is outstandingly responsive across the full engine speed range. All in the interests of lower consumption, dynamic acceleration and particularly agile response.

      The new six-cylinder in-line petrol engine and dynamic AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive with fully variable torque distribution help to ensure a spectacular driving experience in the Mercedes-AMG E 53 4MATIC+ Coupé. The Integrated Starter-Alternator provides for boost and energy recovery, while thanks to systematic electrification the 48 V on-board electrical system supplies the energy consumers. The additional compressor delivers torque barely above idle speed , thus ensuring particularly sporty torque levels.

      AMG RIDE CONTROL+ suspension

      The air suspension system with particularly sporty spring/damper setup and continuously adjustable damping system ADS+ provides exceptional driving dynamics and high levels of ride comfort. The damping at each wheel adapts to the current driving situation and can be set in 3 stages.
