Mercedes-Benz Cars celebrates top honours in the official Synovate 2011 Product Quality Awards

The 2011 Synovate Awards for Product Quality have been announced, based on interviews with more than 33 000 South African vehicle owners, and we have remained top of the class by dominating key segments. The results measure the PP100 (problems per 100 units produced) and respondents are interviewed three months after purchasing their vehicles.

Our key models claimed top honours:

Mercedes-Benz A-Class - awarded Synovate Gold for being the highest-ranked Top Hatch in the Passenger Car category

Mercedes-Benz B-Class - awarded Synovate Gold for being the highest-ranked MPV/Station Wagon in the Passenger Car category

Mercedes-Benz C-Class - awarded Synovate Gold for being the highest-ranked Medium car in the Passenger Car category

Mercedes-Benz E-Class - awarded Synovate Gold for being the highest-ranked Top executive in the Passenger Car category

Mercedes-Benz M-Class awarded Synovate Gold for being the highest-ranked large recreational vehicle in the Recreational Vehicle Segment category

In addition, we were awarded Synovate Gold for being the Best Luxury Passenger Car brand overall and the Best Local Plant Manufacturing Passenger Cars.

What’s more, Mercedes-Benz has been honoured with an exclusive Synovate Platinum Award for exceptional product quality.
