Bring out the sporty side of the E-Class with the optional AMG Sports package (not available for the E 200 NGT BlueEFFICIENCY and E 63 AMG). In addition to the AMG Bodystyling package with front and rear aprons, side skirts and special-design LED daytime running lamps, it includes twin-spoke AMG alloy wheels with mixed-size tyres 245/40 R 18 on the front axle, and 265/35 R 18 on the rear axle and a sporty suspension configuration. On the technical side, the AMG sports package makes its mark with a lower-slung chassis and perforated front brake discs along with Mercedes-Benz lettering on the front brake callipers. Not only do they look incredibly sporty, they also deliver outstanding braking performance when required. The 4-cylinder models are also fitted with polished stainless steel oval tailpipes (single tailpipe for the diesel, twin pipes for the petrol models). The 6 and 8-cylinder models are identified by twin square tailpipes (also made of polished stainless steel) integrated in the bumper.

The AMG sports package adds a dynamic dimension to the interior. The driver and front passenger sports seats boast excellent lateral stability, for example. The seats come upholstered as standard in black ARTICO man-made leather. The seats and door/centre console armrests feature light-coloured double topstitching. A sporty driving feeling also comes courtesy of the AMG 3-spoke sports steering wheel in nappa leather with DIRECT SELECT gearshift paddles for manual gear changes (automatic transmission only).
